Travel and venue - Bradford workshop

The half day Bradford workshop on the 16th May shall be in the Heaton Mount Conference Facility at Bradford University. Heaton Mount enjoys an enviable and growing reputation as an ideal conference venue.

Travel to Bradford workshop

Bradford is connected to the national motorway network via the M62 and the M606.

If you are travelling from the south, east or west of Bradford, you will probably find it most convenient to use the M62 and the M606. If you are arriving from the north-west you will probably use the A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley. From the north-east it is most convenient to use the A1 or A19, and reach Bradford via the A59 and then the A658 south of Harrogate.

From Manchester Airport take the M62 to Bradford.

Leave the M62 at the M606 (Bradford) exit. At the end of the M606, take the last exit - Rooley Lane (dual carriageway). There are two roundabouts on Rooley Lane, cross the first and at the second take the first exit (A650 and the City centre). Continue to follow the A650 signs (which will by-pass the City centre). The dual carriageway will eventually become a single carriageway. Continue until you see the ACW Garden Centre. Take the first turning left after the garden centre, at the top of the rise turn left into Frizinghall Road and follow the road to the traffic lights. Turn right into Keighley Road, go past 'The Park' public house and the Marriners Drive. The School of Management is left immediately after the two houses.

Use the entrance on Keighley Road and not Emm lane, then all you are required to do is register your car details at reception


By train.
The nearest station to Heaton Mount Is Frizinghall. A regular train service from Leeds City Station to Bradford Forster Square Station calls at Frizinghall. Frizinghall train station is just a 10 minute walk from the School of Management. Walk up Frizinghall Road, at the top you will see "The Park" public house. Cross at the traffic lights and pass the public house and Marriners Drive, The school of Management is left immediately after the two houses.
